The Dress

Beaded, sheer wedding dress from Essense of Australia (style D2457).

Sheer details, highlighted with French lace and tulle cut-outs, draw the eye to the bodice of this wedding gown. A V-neckline adds even more sexiness to this style and is accentuated with illusion double straps on either side. Pearl beading and sequins adorn the bodice and side cut-outs that extend down through the hips. The sheer bodice continues to the back of the gown and highlights the beaded, strappy back.

The lower part is crepe with the most gorgeous, long train - which looks like it’s buttoned all the way through (buttons are on the fabric, luckily enough, so you just need to zip up) and finishes with elegant French lace detail at the very bottom.

I found this dress on "Say Yes to The Dress Lancashire" after trying on over 200 dresses! felt beautiful in this dress on the day, and the sheer detail of the bodice created the illusion of a smaller waist.

Alterations

I had dress taken in to meet my measurements. This was originally a size 12, I had it altered to an 8.

I'm 5"6 and wore 5inch heels, so there is room to be taken up if necessary.

I also had the bust pads changed from ivory to nude so they didn't stand out as much.
