The Dress

I had made up my mind that a ball gown was not for me...until I saw this dress! I had already chosen (and ahem...bought) a different dress, but as soon as I saw this one, I had to try it and get a feel for it... And My God - this dress is a dream! It is a part of the Fairy Tale Collection from The Atelier Couture (designed by Jimmy Choo)... The dress has beautiful delicate sequin details, and is super light and easy to wear. The sequins are not overpowering the look, but rather classy - adds just a little bit of sparkle, and makes you look radiant. : ) I cannot explain how forgiving this dress is, and how comfortable I was in it!

Easy to carry: I packed up this dress and took it to Prague for my wedding, and it was very easy to manage. The fabric is super light weight, and falls perfectly as soon as you hang the dress.

SUPER comfy to wear: I wore it for my pre-wedding shoot, and later for my wedding, and it was incredible comfortable. I was feeling on top of the world the whole time! :) It is very easy to move in, climb steps etc. and the whole evening I did not feel the dress on me at all (super super super light weight).

Easy to dance in: We did not practice any dance, but the dress saved us (ha ha...). It looked spectacular in our first dance (check the black & white picture)! There is a french bustle, and it was super easy to manage the train with it.

Photographs REALLY WELL: This one was a big WIN for me! I wanted to create pictures that would last a lifetime of us looking at them and saying "Wow!" - this dress was a perfect 10/10 for that.

Please check the dimensions of the dress as it is perfect for my height, and is looking for the next petite bride-to-be. : ) I've got it professionally dry cleaned and it now awaits a new adventure with someone special. : )

Alterations

Adjustments were for the height.
Bra pads switched to nude color.
A little bit of fabric from the cape was used to cover from the front.
A back string was created from the cape to give me a better fit.
