The Dress

This ethereal Pronovias dress has only been worn once, (July 2022) for my wedding, (postponed from 2020, dress alteration finished in 2021). The dress was purchased with the intention of a beach wedding but we ended up having a garden wedding instead.

The dress has a finger hook for holding it out of the way as well as the ability to bustle for dancing, (I'm 5ft 3.5 and my shoes had a 3 inch heel).

I found the dress extremely comfortable, not heavy to wear at all.

It is in excellent condition and has been professionally dry cleaned. (I still have the original tags and dress bag). There are very faint stains on the bottom layers, (5 layers in total) but can only be seen if you really look for them, (your guests will not see this!).

There are a few minor areas on the tulle where it's gathered on the bottom of the dress but again no one will notice this.

Alterations

I had the straps changed to beaded spaghetti, (same beading as the rest of the dress) with draped layers on the shoulders. I also had the buttons at the back removed, replaced with hidden clasps.
