The Dress

I absolutely LOVED this dress, but am selling it as I need to free up some space in my house. I only wore it the one time on my wedding day and it is in great condition. I hate to part with it, but I would love nothing more than for someone else to get as much joy out of it as I did!

I felt absolutely beautiful in this dress and loved that it had a classic look balanced with the uniqueness of the sexy plunging neckline. It has a classic ballgown silhouette made of Mikado material with a deep, plunging neckline, wide straps that extend into a deep V-back, and a slight train to finish the look perfectly. The skirt of this gown features pockets (amazing!) and is embellished with beautiful matte lace appliques throughout. I added a bridal belt which is attached to the gown, but can be easily removed if desired. I will also include the wide fabric belt that originally came with the dress. The back of the dress with lace details zips up beneath fabric-covered buttons.

The dress is in really good condition overall. The very bottom of the dress (most inside where it is not visible) is slightly dirty from contact with the floor and grass on my wedding day, but that should be easily resolved with a professional cleaning. I accounted for the fact that the buyer would need to pay for cleaning when pricing out this dress.

Alterations

I purchased the dress as a size 10 and had it taken in at the waist and altered to fit my height of 5’ 5” (when wearing low wedge shoes) and weight of 130 lbs. At the time of my wedding, I was wearing between a size 6 and 8. The alterations also included adding a bustle.
