The Dress

The dress is well made and fit comfortably to my body without the need to wear any undergarment or support garment. It has reasonable weight without weighing me down as I loved the feeling of wearing something that still makes me feel totally myself on my wedding day. The gown looked absolutely stunning with its long tail in church and still was functional at the reception when I greeted my guests and mingled with them (see alterations below). I put a topper on as you can see in the photos for the weather as I had an October wedding but the dress is fine as stand alone. The selling price of this dress includes the crinoline (pictured) and the original garment bag from David's Bridal. Since first posting, we discovered a missing button at the very top back view (pictured). It does not affect the look from our perspective but it is something we should let you know. Also we have uploaded a picture of the hidden bustle so that you know how it looks like. Each pair of ribbon is numbered, and we will ship like so, so that you can learn to untie and tie them again. That is obviously the job of the bridesmaids or the mother of the bride. One more picture newly added is we discovered some minor dirt marks at the hem and we are going to lower the price of this dress because of that. We are also taking the optional veil because we are going to keep it.

Alterations

I spent a few hundred dollars and asked a professional wedding gown seamstress to bustle the dress inwards (hidden bustle) so that I could dance freely at the banquet. She also adjusted the dress to my height which is 5'3". It is affecting my asking price because of this. However, if you buy a store bought size 6 and you are as tall as me, you will need the alterations too. So my asking price is very reasonable.
