The Dress

This dress is "good vibes" and "lucky vibes". I've had only amazing things happen for me since I bought this dress. My wedding went amazing. No issues and I've had amazing things happen after my wedding!

I purchased this dress from Brilliant Bridal, their own private collection. It is beautiful.

I am 5'8'' and I wore flats and it was perfect. I also wore 2 inch heels for my first dance and that looked fine as well if not more comfortable and it was not high waters. I didn't want to trip since I was going backwards in my dance.

The train is super GORGEOUS!

This dress was comfortable and sexy and I received so MANY compliments. I'd love for it to go to a special bride who can love it just as much as me. :)

I didn't have any spills but I got it dry-cleaned immediately which is not cheap but figured the nest person wants it cleaned. I will include the dress bag I purchased from Brilliant Bridal as well. The retail price I am including does not include the additional I paid for alterations.

Alterations

I did get alterations but it was small amounts around the waist to be a true fit for a size 8 and I paid extra to get cups added in as well. For reference my cup size is 36 C. I did lose some weight before the wedding so although it was fitted you can be bigger or a size 10 dress and it will fit just fine.

I also had the cleavage closed just a little bit because if you see the original dress the cleavage lace part goes down pretty low. We had to close it up to make it more fitted for my breast size but this is less than .25 inches closed if that at all.

I do have a 5 point American bustle but the thread loop broke when it got dry cleaned but you can probably fix that easily. I paid $850 for alterations because I wanted to go to the best seamstress so there is no damage done to the dress. You can make the dress shorter from bottom and from shortening the straps as well OR by wearing heels.
