The Dress

Delicately embroidered flowers on an organza overlay dress with a ruffle at the hem and thin but supportive spaghetti straps that tie in bows at the shoulder. This is a very well made dress and my favorite thing about it was the gorgeous embroidered and appliquéd fabric, which has a three-dimensional quality to it and it hangs really nicely. I have received so many compliments on it since posting the photos to Instagram!

This was worn once for a 1 hour photo shoot - that's it! It has been dry cleaned and is in excellent condition. The straps are adjustable, making this dress suitable for many heights and body lengths.

I usually wear a size 6 dress and this size Small dress fit me very snugly, which is how I wanted it for the photo shoot. Not uncomfortable by any means, just a good close fit. It is ankle length.

It fits close through the hip but not skin tight. I have wide hips and this fit nicely over them. It could be taken in for narrower hips, or worn loose. The shape of the skirt is accommodating in this way.

There were no alterations made to this dress but it could definitely be shortened. Only the overlay would need to be shortened as the underskirt is above the knee.
