The Dress
From Allure Bridal's Modest collection, a ball gown with floral lace applique. The bodice fits like a v-neck t-shirt and I wore an unlined t-shirt bra for my wedding. The color is Ivory/Silver and shimmers with movement. There are hook and loop buttons down the back of the dress and a hidden zipper closure. Worn and dry cleaned in January 2022. I was very comfortable and didn't need any special undergarments as the dress has a high back and was altered to fit me. It also has the perfect amount of volume I wanted without being too heavy or stiff.
Alterations
Let out two inches in the torso, hemmed to fit me while wearing wedding sneakers(5'6"), added two lined pockets, added bustle(three inconspicuous loop and button bustle points hidden with lace), removed extra layers of horsehair/lining from the train while keeping the beautiful top layer of lace for a sheer, lightweight train.
