The Dress

I felt gorgeous in this dress. The lace along the bodice, front bottom trim, and train all have little reflective sequins that make the dress sparkle a bit in person. Being crepe, the dress did not feel heavy (but the 6 foot lace train does have some weight to it). If you check the listing on the website, the color I got was the ivory/ivory/nude.

I am typically a C or D cup and did not have to wear an additional bra (built in cups). The bustle was a bit of a challenge, so you may want to seek help with that. There is a wrist/bracelet under the train that you can use around your wrist to hold the train up if needed.

The week after the wedding (which was October 2021), I got the dress dry cleaned and preserved. Since then, I've realized I'm open to selling it. I love the idea of someone else getting to wear this dress and feel just as wonderful as I did.

Alterations

I had the dress taken in on the sides (as I lost about 10 pounds between buying the dress and my wedding date); the straps were shortened a bit to be more snug on my shoulders/prevent slipping down my shoulders; hemmed (I am 5'7 and wore 1.5" heels); new built-in cups put in; and bustle added.
