The Dress

For our wedding in San Luis Obispo, California I was in search of a gown that felt romantic, not like the others, and wasn't too heavy. After Lihi Hod's show at New York Bridal Fashion Week in 2019, I attended her trunk show and knew once I put the gown on that I had found a one of a kind dress. I ordered the dress at the start of 2020, and finally got to wear it in September of 2021.

Made with lightweight Chantilly lace panels and layers of tulle, the skirt provides a beautiful a-line silhouette that is accented perfectly by simple yet romantic 3-D lace appliques. The thin organza belt accentuates the waist, while the stunning sheer corset truly brings the design together.

The Sunny Topper creates an off the shoulder look with billowing sleeves and a long Chantilly lace train at the back. The sleeves are accented with beautiful bows – the perfect combination to go from Ceremony into the evening!

The Sunny Dress & Sunny Topper have been professionally cleaned and preserved by Bridgestone Cleaners - Brooklyn’s only Association of Wedding Gown Specialists member.

Alterations

Sunny Dress: Minimal alterations on the sides and the cups of the bodice to ensure it had shape on the body. Front and sides of the skirt were hemmed to floor length. The train reamined as is.

Sunny Topper: Removed a very minimal amount of volume from the billowing sleeves to be in proportion with the dress. Left the train length as is.
