The Dress

"The Tyler gown is a tailored slimline gown in a heavy but fluid satin. The bodice is double fused to give its smooth and structured look. With her cross over bodice detail, spaghetti straps and a beautiful bias-cut skirt, the Tyler gown is a modern twist on the slip dress." I wanted a slit in the skirt so I substituted with the Ava skirt, this makes it more unique, sexy and fun in my opinion. The skirt sits high on the waist and the cutout at front reveals only a small amount of skin. The center front seam has a slit that starts from just above the knee. There is a little extra flare in the skirt that gives a beautiful flowing silhouette and leads to a 12" train. The beautiful luster of the silk satin gives this relaxed wedding gown a luxury feel and look.

The gown is in great condition and was professionally dry cleaned the week following the wedding. There are some soiled areas on the hem of the skirt but it would be difficult for anyone to notice unless you were looking for them. These areas are shown in the pics. After dinner I changed into a short dress for dancing so it was not worn all evening.

I am hoping that a bride will fall in love with this dress the same as I did and give it another opportunity to shine rather than be hid away in the back of a closet.........

Alterations

The top is a size AU6 and the skirt is a size AU10. The waist and sides of the skirt have been taken in slightly and it was hemmed for 4" heels and I am 5'5" tall. The dress was professionally altered in Australia at the store where it was purchased. The current measurements are:
Skirt - Waist 25", Hips 36", Length in Front 44.5", Length in back with train 58"
Top - (Measurements taken lying flat) Bust 17", Waist 13", Length from top of strap 16"
