The Dress
Beautiful mikado silk ballgown ivory dress. Very fine beading on front and back. Purchased from boutique in Brisbane. Professionally dry cleaned after wedding, some marks remain along the hemline (cannot see unless pick up the skirt and inspect closely, can send pictures).
I wore an extra petticoat underneath the dress for the majority of the day.
The dress fit me when tried on in store and then still five months later when I'd lost 5kg, so quite a versatile fit.
Alterations
Hemline altered to be slightly shorter (I am 163cm, and wore ~4cm heels).
I had a bustle put in however it was just a small ribbon which broke during the night - would be very easy to fix.
