The Dress
A gorgeously, simple elegant dress called Chloe in the French Collection by Wendy Makin - 'understated and timeless' to easily suit any style and location of wedding. Backless with a gorgeous feature back with cowl/drape and plain train which can be tied up for dancing. Concealed zip at back.
In very good used condition, professionally dry cleaned after wedding - extremely subtle signs of wear from wedding around the floor hem.
I am approximately 5 ft 6 tall and my heels had an 8.5 cm heel. The last two photos show the length when I had changed into white trainers in the evening.
Alterations
Dress was professionally altered to fit perfectly around the waist and hips - see measurements.
Generally I'm a very standard size 10 and the dress fitted very well before the alterations it just needed bringing in slightly at the waist and hips to be absolutely perfect. Still able to move comfortably in it too!
Extremely comfortable, invisible bra cups were also fitted by the seamstress to fit approximately 32DD bra size.
