The Dress

The most stunning wedding dress! Bought from the Mews Bridal in Notting Hill for my wedding in July 2021. Rime Arodaky dresses are hand made to order in Paris.
I felt completely amazing in this dress and had so many compliments on how beautiful it was! The fit is so flattering, the material is lovely and heavyweight so it falls well but still feels fluid and comfortable to wear all day. The lace train is incredible and so intricately made, it is attached with poppers to the lower back of the dress and so the dress can be worn with or without it. I removed the lace train and bustled the dress in the evening.
PLEASE NOTE We were sadly not blessed with sunny weather on the day, it was wet and stormy (classic English summer weather!) and so whilst I have had the dress dry cleaned there are some minor marks that have not come out. It may be possible to remove these with further cleaning. For this reason the price is adjusted accordingly.
The flaws are:
- slight discolouration along the very bottom of the hemline and hem of the inner slip skirt. I am 5 ft 7” and wore 3.5 inch heels on the day, so this may not be an issue for shorter brides who would take up the hem
- a very small discolouration mark on the right shoulder. This is very faint and not visible when wearing the dress
- a small mark on the back lower left hand side. This would be hidden when wearing the lace train. The lace train is in perfect condition.

Alterations

Rime Arodaky follows French sizing which run considerably smaller than UK sizing equivalent. I am a size 12 and the dress fit perfectly without being too clingy. A few minor alterations were made to adjust to my body shape:
- both sleeves were taken in very slightly
- a thin piece of boning was added to the right side of the bodice (along the seam). This was to help prevent creasing in the bodice (not needed on the other side as this is where the zip is) and can easily be removed
- the hem was shortened in line with my height
- ribbon bustle and side hand loop added to the inside of the under skirt
