The Dress

Beautiful ivory silk Provonias Babel dress bought from Mirror Mirror in London in 2004 for £1000 for my winter wedding - a marriage still going strong so the dress comes with good vibes!
It’s been professionally cleaned and carefully archived in acid free paper in a gold card trunk. I’ve only taken it out this once to photograph it and it’s pristine.
Kick front. Stunning built-in train which has ribbons and press studs beneath so you can pin it up for dancing later.
It has a beaded separate jacket.
Flaws - there are some minor frays at the bottom hem of the dress from where it rubbed against my shoes (see close-up image), and a little of the same at the base of the spine where the press studs attached, but these are tiny and could be trimmed away so you wouldn’t see them. I just want to be super honest.
‘Biggest’ flaw is that the jacket has a small underarm tear that needs repairing. You can see it on the left of the image of the jacket on its own. I reached up to hug a friend at the line-up and it gave way! Again you wouldn’t see it unless you searched for it but I want the dress to arrive exactly as you expect it.
