The Dress
I fell in love with this dress while I was in the United States and I toted it back across the ocean with me. It's a Vera Wang White dress from her collaboration with David's Bridal.
This dress was magical. It truly made me feel like a princess and I enjoyed every moment in it. It's organza and the texture is amazing—it reminds me of freshly fallen snow, which is why I got it for my winter wedding! It also has an asymmetrical draped skirt with a split-front overlay. It has a back zipper and sweep train.
I know it's hard to find affordable plus size fashion, especially for your wedding day, so I wanted to list my wedding dress to hopefully offer another bride an experience like mine.
Alterations
I had sleeves added to this dress. They do require fashion tape to hold up, but kept me a lot warmer for a winter wedding! I also had a small sweetheart put into the square neckline that could be removed, a bustle, and alterations to the waistline to raise the skirt.
