I have never felt as amazing as I did getting married in this dress. Very sad to see it go but it's been dry cleaned and in the box since we got married at the end of 2020. I can only hope it makes someone else as happy I felt in it.
I did get the dress altered but it wasn't cut away at the sides, I got the seamstress to fold the excess material back in the dress. I initially planned to wear the dress again at our wedding celebration the following year so didn't want it to be heavily altered in case I had lost/gained any weight in between. The dress could be put back to original size if wanted. However straps have been taken in.
I haven't got a picture of me wearing it from the front without it being covered by flowers (or a glass of bubbles) but happy to provide more images if you contact me.
