About the Dress

2016 Vera Wang Iconic Collection Gemma gown in ivory, with blizzard beading; strapless, sweetheart mermaid gown with asymmetrically draped bodice and organza blossom hem, purchased at Vera Wang on Newbury Street, Boston.

Worn for my January 2017 wedding and dry cleaned. Please note there are small flaws throughout, one stain to the right of where the bustle attaches, under the organza layers, on the hem of the under-lining (not visible while wearing) and a few pieces of the top organza layers need to be tacked up (I have zero sewing knowledge but I've been told this is a simple fix for a tailor)

I added a video with a clip from my wedding so you can see how the dress moves, and then a visual "walk around" of the dress today.

Alterations

Dress was purchased as a bridal size 12, street size 8, and taken in to accommodate weight loss, roughly 20lbs from time of purchase. A bra was also sewn in but can be easily removed. I am 5'3 but wore 4" heels for the wedding and the dress was tailored to that length.
