The Dress

A beautiful, unique A-line Monique Lhuillier dress. The lace is delicately sown with silver, which gives a subtle shimmer and looks amazing in the sunlight. The dress is a soft almond color (ivory lace over a warm underlayer) and feels super light and comfortable to wear. Currently strapless, but photos show me playing around with adding spaghetti straps, and there are loops already in place to easily add. Unaltered, so significant possibilities for customization, including a high-low hem that the dress was advertised with. I am 5'5 and wear about a size 4-6 dress, so the dress would have needed hemming and taking in of the bust and waist. An incredible dress that stood out among my hours of dress shopping, but went in a simpler direction for my backyard wedding.

I bought it as a sample at a boutique in mid-2021, so unsure what year it is. I googled "Monique Lhuillier Bliss 15202" if you'd like to check it out. No wear is evident at all (no discoloration on the hem or tears in lace), so not even sure if it was used as a sample. You won’t find this dress or designer under $2,000, especially for an unworn and unaltered dress. My savings passed to you!
