The Dress

Langdon by Wtoo is a dramatic, structured, yet light and airy take on the ballgown silhouette. The dress is constructed from silky burnout lace in a unique floral motif. It's the best of both worlds, because you get the structure and volume of a ballgown without the restriction and weight. The gown swirls and flows beautifully with the body, as the many layers of burnout lace are finished with invisible stiffened edging to keep their structure. Finished with a super fun and flowing sweep train, as you can see in the photos. The bodice features princess seams which accentuate the waist. This dress was worn once and then carefully stored. I will have it professionally dry cleaned again once I find a buyer. It will come with the original garment bag, as well. Thanks for your interest! :)

Alterations

All alterations professionally done. Hidden silk-covered button pickups for a bustle in the back and to take the dress up in the front for dancing without high heels. Once the dress is fully bustled all the way around it is shorter by about 2" to allow for flats to be worn at the ceremony (if you want!). You can just bustle the back to get the train out of the way and leave it at the original length in the front. I included photos of the dress fully bustled at the reception so you can see what I mean. Subtle cups added to the bodice for structure and slight lift. Also had the bodice closed in the center by about an inch for my modesty preference. This could easily be let out again for someone more daring than me! :)
