The Dress

100% silk Cheryl wedding dress, by London Designer, Halfpenny. The label on the dress is a 2 but I am US 4 and it fit me perfectly! For reference, I am 5'10, 32C bra size, 27 inch waist and 135ish.

I absolutely love this dress and want another bride to enjoy this fabulous dress!

My favorite part about the dress is the back! For the ceremony, photos, and first dance, I tied the dress back with a simple knot. Once I was ready to hit the dance floor, I tied the long straps around my waist and switched up my look (see the limbo and dance floor photos). It is lightweight and was perfect for my August wedding in Washington, DC, which can get humid.

I added an Italian Bustle but it sadly broke while dancing and the bottom of my dress is a little dirty. The dress has been dry cleaned and there were no alterations--it fit like a glove! I am 5'10 and wore 3 inch heels before changing into golden goose sneakers. If you are a little shorter, the hemming should remove the discoloration from the bottom 2 inches.
