The Dress

Textural appliqués adorn the bodice and float down through the skirt, crafted from layers of glitter tulle. A plunge neckline adds a sultry edge to the whimsical look, and a removable grosgrain belt defines the waist. By BHLDN. True to size. Fitted at bust and waist, loose at the hip. Bust cups.

Alterations

Dress was shortened to 59” from shoulder to hem. I am 5’5” and I wore flats. The zipper back was changed to a corset tie back, using the belt ribbon that came with the dress. The waist was just a little bit too tight for me, so it allowed me to adjust it slightly. The material was just folded back, so the zipper is still there and could be changed back by a tailor. See video for details. I still have the buttons that were removed to do this, and they will be shipped with the dress. This dress was dry cleaned after the wedding and has no stains, but some of the appliqués are a little loose and/or frayed. I tried to show this in the last 2 pics. A few may need to be re-sewn. Price reflects the condition. Regular price was $1500. I bought this in March of 2021 so I believe the year it was made was 2020, since many sizes were sold out by that point.
