The Dress

One-of-a-kind beautiful shimmering A-Line bridal gown with sweetheart neckline. Size 16 reduced slightly around waistline but retaining the bigger bust size.

The gown was made bespoke by House of Coco Curvy Bridal - so there really isn't another out there like it! We used their Maisie strapless sweetheart design in ivory satin underneath their silver Crystal sparkle material, and topped with a layer of silk tulle for comfort, with horsehair hem. At first glance the dress looks like an A-line/Princess ivory gown, but it truly glistens and sparkles in the light which looks amazing especially with a bit of movement! Inside is a supported bust with waist corset and the dress zips with clear buttons to secure.

My photos don't quite do the dress justice due to room size and lighting, but it pulls you in all the right places, very comfortable and forgiving on the stomach area. I'm very very curvy and as you can see from the back it's disguised well in this dress.

There is a long train as in the picture (apologies I don't have a big enough room to flare it out!) and the dress has a reasonable weight to it. Feels and looks great for dancing and can be bustled / shortened. The edges of the train are tacked together, which can be left as is, but if I were finishing this dress to fully fit myself, I was also planning to get the two under-layers stitched at the hem so that only the top tulle layer would be free flowing.

Brand new, unworn, purchased in August 2021, with spare buttons. Open to discussion on the price.

Alterations

The gown has been adjusted to my height of 5’4” but with a lot of give, train length still full and room in the hem for taller brides
