Classic and Timeless with Subtle Sparkle A-Line Wedding Dress with long train

I purchased the gown from Wedding Salon of Manhasset in September 2021. It is a gorgeous strapless corseted full A-line gown with floral embroidery in silver, champagne, and white. Monique L'huillier is renowned for her handmade, high quality dresses.

It comes with a cathedral-length train and hooks for bustling in the back. (There are very subtle small sequins dusted over the dress - the right amount of sparkle without being tacky!)

It is an elegant, dramatic dress that I wore for a total of 4 hours so it's still in excellent condition / has not been dry cleaned but probably doesn't need it. It is a dream to wear, so light and comfortable compared to others- and it looks like magic in the photos. Felt like a princess! (if interested, I can sell 'the runway veil' pictured in the photo as well)

I added boning in the chest (no undergarments necessary), the dress will not sag or fall during dancing or movement, it holds itself up beautifully. All alterations and modifications were done professionally by the Wedding Salons of Manhasset team.

FYI: The sample of the Lakely gown in store is often created with a nude colored lining which doesn't 'pop' or read as bridal. I wanted the lace and the white to be brighter and we changed out the silk lining to the designer's recommendation: "silk white" lining.

If I were trying to fit into this gown- I would make sure you can get into a 35" bust (same as size 8 sample) and 27" waist (smaller than size 8 sample), and don't exceed 5'8" in height with wedding heels. The hip measurement is less important because it flares out at the waist

I can also send a photo of the receipt so you know that it was bought new (and only worn once by me.)I tried on at least 100 dresses in my search and this is the ONLY one I fell in love with - it is absolutely the ONE! I hope you love it too.

Alterations

the size 8 from monique was a bit big in the waist and long- so we nipped it in to fit the measurements above. Bust was not altered - same as a size 8 sample.
