The Dress

This dress was absolutely amazing at my wine country wedding last summer! I have an athletic body type with somewhat curvy hips and it felt so flattering. It was also super, super comfortable. I felt good in it the whole evening and could dance and shake my hips and pick up kids and didn't feel restricted at all. My favorite feature is the open back and entire backside. I live in the East Bay Area (Danville, CA) and am open to local pick-up or shipping. I initially purchased it at Bridal Galleria in San Francisco.

Note this is listed as "good" instead of "excellent" used condition due to a small rip and wear in the tulle as it dragged on the ground and I stepped on it a couple times. It is hard for me to notice and think it would be easy to hide/fix.

Alterations

The retail listing price of the dress does not include the additional $1,000+ in alterations.

Added push up cups so that it did not have to be worn with a bra. We also took in the chest area (bust darts + running stitch) and the straps to tighten the top part as my top (torso, waist, bust) is smaller than my hips. The dress was originally designed for a really tall person, so we also altered the hem to fit my height - 5'6" and I wore about 2.5" heels. The bustle was done as well. Lastly, we added a bit of lace on the back that came out SO WELL. It originally looked very sexy/lingerie-like and the added lace classed it up enough for my mom to approve.
