The Dress

A knock out gown with two gorgeous looks in one. BT18-08 feaures as a sleek and soft Chantilly overlace mermaid gown with a low back worn underneath the most stunning jacket layer with an elegant illusion tulle bateau neckline, flowing godet panels, covered buttons, and insanely chick long sleeves.

Bought for my wedding in June 2018. Worn once and the next day had professionally dry clenaed by a wedding dress dry cleaning service and stored in a "moth free and repellant" box wrapped in tissue paper.

Essentially you have two different dresses for two different looks. Originally I thought to use the lace overall dress for the formal ceremony and the underdress which was spagetti straps for the reception, but in the end my wedding day turned out to be one of the coldest days in Johannesburg so I kept the lace overlay on for the reception as well. But for someone looking for two looks, this is the best value and both dresses are absolutely beautiful.

I ordered size 10. I adjusted it slightly by pinning the lower zip down. You can keep it like that which makes the back slightly lower or undo it. I especially did it using a professional service so that if one wanted it could be "undone".

Alterations

I let out the zip by a professional formal and bridal wear designer so as to make the back of the under dress slighly lower. This is easily reversable as it's only "tacked" and not cut in any way.
