The Dress
The dress was originally floor length with a train but I wanted something a bit more wearable on the day. We wanted a more relaxed wedding so I thought the dress would look better at ballerina length and it turned out beautiful. The colour also is very different. It is a lovely taupe colour with white lace on the bodice and white sheer organza tulle over the taupe skirt. The detail on the shoulder straps are beautiful. Lace flowers that sit beautifully on the shoulders, very delicate looking. I kept my look very simple but classy on the day. As the length of the dress showed my ankles, I really went to town on my shoes!
Alterations
Radically altered the length to ballerina length and removed the long train. The bodice was also taken in slightly.
