The Dress

Designer Wedding Gown Size 16/18. States size 16 but I'm a 16 & it's too big for me. It's also too long for me, but I'm only 5'3" and don't wear high heels! It is quite usual for bridal gowns to need alterations to fit, but if you're a tall girl then it might not need any. If it does need shortening the lace trim on the hem is removable to shorten the length then re-attach.Train as per photos.There are a couple of small areas where some mending is needed, a part of the neckline approx 2cm (see photo) and one of the lace flower appliqués has come undone & needs a lttle help. I bought this dress last August for my wedding in March,  covid lockdown put paid to that & the re-arranged June date. My wedding was in September and unfortunately, I had to have surgery for breast cancer, after which, my beautiful wedding gown was no longer suitable 😒 I made myself another, more suitable gown so need to sell this one to try & recoup some money. It was a Sample dress when bought from a bridal shop, but not second hand. The gown has recently been professionally dry cleaned ready for sale.
