The Dress

Hi there!

I wore this dress for my wedding in May 2021. The dress was purchased in 2020 from The Sposa Group. The dress is part of the Platinum Demetrios Label and is the RENA DP416. There is also a luxurious removable train/skirt which was worn for the church ceremony.

The dress has an artistic blend of intricate beading, lace and lush tulle underlay. The dress features a sculptured, V-neckline and dramatic low back. As you can see from my photos, the dress is fitted around the bodice, hips, waist and behind area. It starts to flare from the knee area.

There is an ivory underlay and also tulle skirting underneath. The top layer is an organza fabric with has detailed beading and lacework, with sheer accents. The detailing is breathtaking and the pictures don't do the dress justice.

The detachable skirt is full and adds a luxurious touch with similar beading and lacework to the dress. The attachment components are not visible on the dress once the skirt is removed. This was a positive for me, as I didn't want to compromise the look when the skirt was removed. I absolutely loved wearing the skirt. It gave me two looks without having to get changed!

There are some minor pulls on the dress where it has dragged on the concrete.

Dress also comes with a long, plain, sheer veil ($900). Happy to throw this in with the dress and skirt.

Alterations

Alterations:
I added in padded cups in the bust area for more support. The length has also been taken up at the front and taken in around the bottom for more of a hugging silhouette. There was also boning added around the waistline which made the dress more structured and modern.
