The Dress

From the designer: "This mermaid gown flatters the figure with illusion paneling at the back, blooming with embroidery that also coats Chantilly lace façade of the bodice, skirt, and train."

This is the Pronovias Morocco lined version, meaning that it came from the designer without the side cutouts as seen in online images. This is a beautiful dress with a statement back, yet still classic and timeless. I have also added extra lining and lace to the back for a more modest timeless look.

Alterations were done, this dress is meant to fit like a glove.

Alterations

Altered to fit my measurements (bust 31", waist 25", hips 36"). Length hemmed to "kiss" floor for my height (5'4") with flats.
Size B bra cups sewn in (can be removed).
Extra lining and lace added to back so that the illusion stops at the waist line instead of lower back.
Buttons added for 7-point American bustle (see photo).
