The Dress

This was the first dress I tried on and fell in love with it. I love the cut. It’s super flattering. it’s low in the front and has a low back with this beautiful beaded strap that hugs the waistline. The lining is nude but has ivory lace/mesh/beading over. There is a decent size train. I wore this dress for about 45 min. The ceremony only and then immediately changed into a shorter dress. So it’s in amazing condition!

Alterations

The straps had to me taken in a tiny bit which apparently is normal and most dresses have to be bc they make them extra long. I did take out the lining at the bottom. If you look at the dress when I was in the store it looks like a muffin top where it awkwardly sat up instead of falling naturally to the ground. (Refer to photo 2) it looks way better without that stuff lining at the bottom; it lays way softer (refer to photo 6). Its hard to tell but most wedding dresses have this “boning” that goes from the waist to the breast with a ton of padding in the breast area. It looked awkward like I had cones on my chest so some of the padding was taken out but not all. Still lined and again it lays much better on the body.
