The Dress

This dress seems to be a weird and wonderful fertility luck charm.
Originally it was ordered by a lady, who then got pregnant and couldn't wear it for her wedding as it wouldn't have fit, so she never collected it from the shop. I then bought it for my wedding off the rack as it was brand new, fit like a glove and ready to take home, plus I got a better deal than if ordering again. However, our wedding along with my first fitting were cancelled because of COVID-19 and by the time we gave up and chose to have a garden wedding with 30 people, I too had gotten pregnant (accidentally!) and couldn't fit into it anymore!
The dress has never been altered or worn as a result of the above, just tried on by a couple of hopeful brides who then became hopeful mums who couldn't wear their dress! It really is such a beautiful dress and SO comfortable, I felt so relaxed in it, I just wish I'd got to wear it! I just really want it to go to someone who wants to feel beautiful and comfortable on their special day, and hopefully, 3rd time lucky, it can finally be worn on a wedding day like it deserves!
