The Dress
Ian Stuart's Mokalita is a stunning, unique gown that suits a dreamy vintage ,romantic style wedding. The taffeta gown is pale 'cappuccino' color giving a lovely subtle antique impression. It blends really well with vintage tea roses, dusky pink delicate flowers and pearls (which were in my bouquet).
I customized the gown by ordering another $1000 of gold antique lace from the designer which was added as a border to the taffeta skirt and as small motifs throughout the taffeta making it a one-off design.
The stitched flowers at the bust and hip have a Carrie/Sex-in-the-city feel but I reduced the size slightly so i wouldn't be swamped.
This dress, has been dry cleaned and stored in its original designer bag since my wedding day.
Bought in its original state for $4200 from Jersey near France but then modified subsequently.
Size 10, 32C/34B bust.
An easily zipped back with button detailing.
