The Dress

Danielle Frankel's 'Ruby' gown is a beautiful option for modern brides. Made from white wool and silk-blend satin, it has a figure-skimming bodice contrasted by romantic tulle sleeves that are shirred and pleated for volume. The delicate square neckline and low back are held in place by grosgrain ties that fasten into a pretty bow.

I absolutely love this dress but unfortunately the fit was a little too figure hugging for what I wanted so am re-selling, so that I can order a size up. On an AU size 6 (US size 2) it is more of a fitted look (see photos) whereas on a AU size 4 (US size 0) it it would be more of a loose look (similar to this https://www.instagram.com/p/CI5xifsrJvd/).

I bought the dress off Nearly Newlywed - the bride said she had worn the piece for a one-hour signing ceremony indoors and then had it professionally dry cleaned. True to her description it arrived in excellent condition and is now wrapped in acid-free tissue paper for storage.
