The Dress

The most delightful feature of this gown is the pale ballet pink lining that lays underneath layers of ivory lace and organza-- creating a soft contrast that really shows off the detail. Adding a grosgrain ribbon like I did was a nice touch to define the waist.

For the classic romantic at heart, floral laces shower throughout this subtly voluminous silhouette of tulle and Regency Organza, making a distinctly striking statement. Subtle visible boning in the bodice adds a hint of a corsetry-inspired effect for a sexy yet utterly classic design. The open V-back adds a fresh, modern feel together with the floating laces over the back and shoulders.

Fully dry cleaned after wedding. Hung in a bridal consignment shop briefly and may have been tried on a couple times.

Alterations

Hemmed the bottom and shortened the train a bit. Straps taken up slightly.
