The Dress
Dress was $8000 and spent $2000 on alterations. Also, purchased the head piece and veil. Headpiece is worth $595 and veil is worth $350. Happy to throw in both with the purchase of the dress. The alterations were expensive especially shortening the dress as there are over 6 layers and lots of detail on the fabric so it was cut shorter from the middle of the gown not the bottom to keep all the beautiful detail. The sleeves are detachable. Dress is ivory and gold. Amazing dress! Could not be happier!
Alterations
Shortened hem - my height is 158cm and also added 13cm in length to match my height with wedding heels heels so total is about 170-172cm
Inserted padded cups into the breast area
Inserted an adjustable belt on the inside of the waist to assist with suddenly weight loss or gain which happens close to the wedding day
