The Dress

Off-white floral lace embroidery on mesh, paired with with 2 layers of lining. The first layer is a gorgeous smokey mesh which makes the lace embroidery pop, and then an inner tan mesh lining. It has a fitted but super comfortable silhouette to low hip, plunging neckline, beautiful train as well as side godets which add volume to the skirt while maintaining a close to the body fit at the front. This dress was so beautiful and perfect to wear on our wedding day. I never thought I'd wear a dress with a plunging neckline or a split!! However when I was convinced to try it on 'just to see' ... I fell in love - it gave that extra edginess and was so perfect for our boho theme. The dress was effortless to move around and sit in (especially with the split). I loved this dress so much and am excited that another beautiful bride will hopefully get to love it too.

We had a tiny ceremony with 8 guests and a seated celebration dinner with family (no dancing) - so it's pretty much new! No tears or stains (regardless has been dry-cleaned).

I was sitting just under a size 8 measurements so it has had some slight alterations. The material has a little stretch to it so will be suitable for a size 6-8.

Alterations

Hem taken up to suit above height measurements.  Taken in at the waist 1-2cm, hips/bottom 3-4cm and straps shortened slightly (measures 75cm over shoulders to mesh/waistline). Will supply the offcuts.
The seamstress intentionally left material in the middle seam to allow the dress to be taken out approx. 2 cm.
Other alterations include sewn-in cups and a French style bustle.
