About the Dress
This dress is timeless, simple, sophisticated and chic. I was looking for a dress inspired by Carolyn Bessette- Kennedy's 1996 elopement dress when she wed John F. Kennedy Jr. and this one was perfect. It flows and forms to the body beautifully. It is on trend with the times, but also classic so you will never look at your wedding photos and think, "why did I wear that?". If you are looking for simple elegance with a slight bohemian flare, you have found it.
My favorite details are the slimming diagonal seam, the textured spaghetti straps and the scoop which frames the décolleté and elongates the neck.
Alterations
The straps were slightly tightened and the bottom was hemmed for my height.
