The Dress

Gorgeous off the shoulder gown in very good condition. I only wore it for the ceremony, photos, and part of the reception, then changed into a fun reception dress. Front is just off the shoulder straps with a scoop/v neckline. Pearl beads line the back, but actually is a concealed zipper, so easy to get on and off. The dress is a unique material, a heavy matte silk, which makes it feel very forgiving and fit like a glove. Tight around the waist then balloons out, so no need to worry about having room around your hips.

Alterations

Inserted a corset to pull the waist in and to keep the boobs secure. Created a v shape in the back, original gown had a high straight back. Took out a ton of the under tulle, and added horse hair rope around the outer bottom of the skirt to prevent it from folding inward or loosing the large shape (recommended by the seamstress). Purchased it in a boutique near Washington D.C.
