The Dress

This is a stunning 1920's inspired Jenny Packham wedding dress purchased from the boutique Melbourne store, Le Louvre, in South Yarra.

The dress is timelessly elegant and really easy to wear. It is comprised of two parts - an ivory slip underneath and a beaded tulle sheath with butterfly motif over the top. It is an extremely comfortable dress to wear with much freedom of movement. As it is unstructured it would conform easily to a number of different body shapes and sizes.

Although a size 12, I am a standard size 10 and the dress fit perfectly. The slip has been taken in at the bust and waist. The measurements across the bust are 47cm and the waist is 43cm (approx) and hips 55cm (approx). Both layers have been shortened and measure 124cm long from under the armpit.

There are a couple of tiny pulls and missing beads in the fabric near the hemline of the sheath. This is nothing noticeable and otherwise the dress is in excellent condition. It has been professionally dry-cleaned.

I am happy to sell the veil which was made by Le Louvre at an additional cost (it is a really long veil with ample fabric that could be used to construct any veil to your liking).
