The Dress

Most stunning Wedding dress I fell in love the second I tried it on! It’s an A-line cut dress made of beautiful ivory cady silk, the same silk Meghan Markle’s wedding dress was made of. The pleated neck line is so unique and nothing I’ve seen before and giving the timeless cut a modern yet elegant twist. The dress has silk buttons down the back and has a beautiful long train. It has a lovely swing when walking and falls perfectly natural around your body. Cady Silk also known as ply silk is often used for couture and evening gowns and has this „heavy“ yet light luxurious touch. When I tried it on I felt so elegant and sophisticated.
I bought the dress off the rack in December 2020. Couture price would be £11,900. It’s one of a kind and not the usual Philipa Lepley dress. The dress has one tiny (1mm) faint grey mark, which is hardly noticeable. I attached a photo. That said the dress is is an immaculate state and I have never worn it and is unaltered. It has enough material to give out (if needed) in the bodice. The dress also has a mid seam which means one could make it into a Jump suit for or after the wedding. It’s just a stunning dress!
