The Dress

The Empress Collection: Embroidered lace voluminous dress, sheer back with a bejeweled lace.
As the dress is custom made there is no size on the tag, but can best be described as a UK size 10.The lace has some stretch, which means that the dress can be tight fitted without being uncomfortable - also leaving room for sitting and dancing!
I am a 34C cup and had pads sewn into the dress so it can accommodate up to a full C cup with these pads removed. I am 5'6" and wore a 3.5" heel.
My alterations included an over bustle for the train, which was connected by 3 eyelet hooks, so that the dress could be fastened up (for dancing or longer walking periods outside), and a finger loop so that it could be carried.
The dress has been cleaned as advised by designer and is in excellent, ready to wear condition.
The Madonna truly is an amazing gown. The intricacy of the lace is stunning. The back of the dress truly wowed my guests and made me feel so special. I am sure it will make another bride feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day.
