The Dress

The Hansen wedding gown by Dan Jones is made of heavy weight silk crepe and features intricately hand cut corded French lace applique at the bodice and center back. With clean lines that frame the silhouette and a thigh high split, the Hansen gown is sexy yet chic. I paired it with the Dan Jones Organza skirt, which I wore for the ceremony then removed for the reception.

I bought the dress and skirt from LOHO Bride in Los Angeles in 2019. It was custom made from the Australian designer Unbridaled by Dan Jones in size 4. I only wore it once on my wedding day. It is beautiful! Absolutely stunning dress with a small train at the back of it. The skirt added a magical long billowing train, which was stunning in the ceremony and photos.

The fabric is rich and luxurious silk crepe with lace detail in the front and back. Although the fabric is a heavy weight silk crepe, it’s incredibly light and with an invisible side zip, it’s an effortless wear. It was the perfect dress from day to night. It has a wedding bustle clip that has been attached on the inside and not visible, so the train can be easily lifted and secured for dancing at your reception.

I wore it once at my wedding and it had been professionally cleaned and preserved. With the train, wrap detail, and organza skirt, there is plenty of room for alterations. I am relatively small chested/ big hipped, allowing for even more room to be taken in at the hips
