The Dress

LOVE, LOVE LOVED wearing this Pnina Tornai wedding dress. Pnina Tornai Swarovski clear crystal embellished mermaid gown with sheer corset bodice, dramatic mermaid skirt. The mermaid silhouette is fitted in the natural waist, hips, and thighs. The mermaid style is the sexiest silhouette. It will show off your curves in a fitted, body-hugging dress that subtly flares out below the knee. Tulle bottom was removed and customized with same fabric as dress. Silver Swarovski Crystals were customized and changed to clear Swarowski Crystals for a more sophisticated bridal look. Spaghetti Straps were added with clear Swarovski crystals but can be worn strapless. There is also a fantastic bustle since it had a very long cathedral trail.

The measurements at time of purchase were 38.5 Bust, 29 Waist & 41.5 Hip.
The measurements at time of fitting were 36 Bust, 27 Waist & 38.5 Hip. Fitting was done at Kleinfelds in New York City.

Adjustable Corset makes it easy to adjust. See the back of the dress or I can send you more pictures of the corset. My Mom, Lisa, or I are happy to speak with you over the phone.

Custom gloves made with the matching lace and Swarovki encrusted clear crystals is available at an additional price and are shown in the photos. They were worn during the bridal photos & church ceremony & may be removed like gloves.

This was a brand new dress worn once on my wedding day & purchased & fitted at Kleinfelds in NYC. It was professionally drycleaned by a wedding dress specialist & I can provide the Kleinfeld receipts & drycleaning receipt. I also have a photo with Pnina Tornai at Kleinfelds when I tried the sample dress on.

Note on Sizing: An extra large bust cup was added to this dress so it was a custom alteration. The dress was a size 14 because of the extra large bust cup alteration but the bride is a street size 6 except for the bust.

Note on Sizing from Kleinfelds: Bridal sizing is VERY different than what you wear in your every day clothing. On top of this, Israeli designers run especially small. We ordered you a bridal size 14 based on the measurements that we took and compared them to the size chart by your designer. There’s no need to worry, we ordered the base size that is closest to your measurements and then alterations will sculpt and mold everything to fit you perfectly during your fittings.
