The Dress

Georgia Young Couture's Sofia gown is made from a white double knit fabric with a super soft touch and heavy drape.
It was really important to me that my dress was comfortable and easy to wear. The fabric feels similar to a stretch lycra - it not only fits like a glove but is incredibly comfortable and allowed me to move with ease from photos right until the end of the reception.
The dress also has a bustle at the back which made dancing a breeze.

I was lucky enough to be the first person to wear the Sofia dress on the 7th of February 2020 and due to Covid-19 I haven't seen the dress anywhere on social media.

This beautiful gown is unique, timeless and sophisticated and made to wear by Georgia Young herself. I love the line detailing and cut out in the corset style stop which gives it structure, depth and a little bit of an edge. The dress originally came with a bow which I had removed.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned by Syndal's Bridal Dry Cleaners on High St in Armadale. They are specifically recommended by Georgia Young for dry cleaning and certificate available upon request. The dress is in perfect condition and as good as new!
