The Dress

This dress was made by Heart Brides and is the only one of its sort as it was a one off design. I had my wedding in Mauritius and I loved it so much as the bodice was made to look as if it is covered in tropical flowers. Another unique feature of this dress is that you can tuck away the train so it’s out of the way during the reception (please see last photo for a picture with the train tucked away).

The skirt has glitter tulle with matching flowers to the bodice. Each flower has a diamanté in the centre which glistened in the sun. The waist is diagonal, giving a unique one sided dropped waist.

The bodice does not require a bra to be worn with it as it has an inner strap to act as a bra and silicone rubber strip along the sweetheart neckline to ensure the dress doesn’t slip down. It has a zip fastening at the back with hook and eye at the top for extra security.

The dress has been dry cleaned but there are a couple of very light marks on the underside of the train. The satin has been slightly scuffed, again, on the underside of the train but neither can be noticed when wearing.
