The Dress

This beautiful Stella York dress features a flattering high neckline with a skinny centre plunge, and a fitted lace and light beadwork bodice.
This dress is incredibly sexy and flattering and made me feel incredible on my wedding day. The curved seaming and lace along the bodice and hips, and then the wider laced train flattered my curves and created a beautiful hourglass silhouette.

This dress was incredibly comfortable with built-in cups, so I felt totally secure without a bra (I'm a size 12C). The crepe material was beautifully figure-hugging and stretchy, making it comfortable whether I was standing up or sitting down. The open/low back with buttons and the tighter fit around the butt added even more wow factor.

The only alterations made to the original dress was to the straps at the back, to make the straps go straight down (as shown in the photos), and a bustle at the back to lift up the train.

For reference, I am 178cm tall and wore 7cm heels on the day, and this was a perfect length, so I didn't even have to alter the bottom hem of the dress. I am usually a size 10 on top and 12 down bottom.

It was purchased in Melbourne at Fairy Tales Bridal and only worn once. It was immediately dry cleaned by Syndal's Bridal Dry Cleaners, and is in perfect condition with no marks.

Alterations

1. The original dress design had the straps crossing over across the back. But I had these changed so the straps are straight down at the back.
2. Added a bustle at the back to lift up the train (for dancing!)
