The Dress

It's such a cliche but I felt like royalty in this dress. It is classy and elegant with so much beautiful fine detail. It is structured and really flattering (so you don't need to worry about not eating the delicious food!) And I was comfortable in it and didn't feel like my movement was restricted (we even had quite a detailed first dance and I felt free and yet secure dancing in this.) I love the angled reveal of the petticoat at the bottom which is covered in stunning hand-embroiled detail.

Bought in 2011 and (as you would assume) only worn once.

There is a loop so that you can safely secure train to back buttons for dancing and it still looks beautiful.

Happy to include the shoes, earrings and veil (as pictured or can provide more pictures) at no extra cost.

Best worn with a hoop skirt underneath which I hired from the bridal shop (Brides of Sydney) for a minimal cost.

Alterations

The 'Vanessa' was originally designed with a straight neckline but I had it altered to make a sweetheart neckline.
The size was originally a 10 but I had it taken in a fair amount and would be closer to a 9 now.
Hemmed to be floor length with shoes.
