The Dress

This incredible gown is from Mira Zwillinger's 2019 Queen of Ice collection. It is such a unique piece, with an incredible fabric with sequins, beads, sparkly leaf motif, and floral applique. I have not seen a fabric like this with any other designer. It is ivory enough for the day, but also sparkly enough to transition well into the evening. Although the dress is very sparkly, it is done in such an elegant and tasteful way that only a few gown designers can achieve. The gown is incredibly crafted with a corset bodice, and despite all the detail, the gown is somehow very light in weight. My favorite part is the thin belt which is ivory satin with clear sparkly beads in the center. It is the perfect finishing touch.

In order to achieve multiple looks with just one dress, I had my talented seamstress create an overskirt and matching arm bands! The overskirt attaches to the dress, but the metal hooks are cleverly hidden on both the gown and overskirt with some of the gown's fabric. It created just the right amount of drama for the ceremony! The arm bands are from the same material as the dress and include the floral applique accents. I received a lot of compliments on the armbands and how they refreshed my look during the reception! I can also include the veil if desired.

Alterations

The gown was purchased at Mark Ingram Bridal NYC and altered to my height with heels (5'6") and adjusted to fit my size perfectly. A bustle was also added, which can be adjusted or completely changed by a seamstress.
