The Dress

It's all about the sparkle of this gown. This unique fit and flare gown features shooting star beaded details and bell sleeves. Buttons line the illusion back to the end of the zipper.

The lining is nude, with many layers of ivory tulle.

The dress was made to order for me in 2019 and was worn once. It is in pretty good condition, does need a dry clean though. There is a small part of the tulle right down at the bottom that has torn (approx a 4cm tear), but I'm sure a good tailor could do something with this. Some of the beading may have come loose but this should be fixable as well - I may be able to find the spare beads.

Some subtle pearl beads have been sewn into the back to create a bustle. 1 of the 3 bustle loops needs to be fixed but this should be easy. A hand loop has been sewn into the lining.

I'm happy to throw in the veil as well - it is from One Day Bridal, their Tear Drop Veil in "natural", standard length (220cm).

Alterations

This dress has been professionally altered by My Private Tailor in Potts Point (she did an amazing job!). I'm usually in between a size 8 and 10, and have a D cup bust. The dress was altered to fit me, taken in basically everywhere except the waist and the sleeves. The sleeves and hem have been taken up - I'm 5'3''.
